Chocolate Cherry Baked Oats

Chocolate Cherry Baked Oats (serves 1)

Ingredients


  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup milk of your choice
  • 1 teaspoon of either maple syrup, honey, or 1/2 a banana
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 scoop of protein powder (chocolate, vanilla or unflavoured)
  • Pinch of sea salt


To top:

  • Handful of whole frozen or fresh cherries (pitted)



Method


  1. Blend everything (apart from the cherries) together in a high-speed blender until you have a smooth batter.
  2. Pour the batter into a ramekin and add your cherries on top.
  3. Bake for 30 minutes in a 180°C oven.



Great served with plain yoghurt on top!
